Representative Gara moved and asked unanimous consent that HCS SB 7(FIN) be returned to second reading for the specific purpose of considering Amendment No. 1. There being no objection, it was so ordered. 2013-04-14 House Journal Page 1265 Amendment No. 1 was offered by Representatives Gara, Tuck, Kerttula, and Kawasaki: Page 1, line 12: Delete "2 percent" Insert "1 percent" Page 2, line 1, through page 2, line 24: Delete all material. Representative Gara moved and asked unanimous consent that Amendment No. 1 be adopted. Representative Hughes objected. The question being: "Shall Amendment No. 1 be adopted?" HCS SB 7(FIN) was automatically in third reading. Representative Higgins moved and asked unanimous consent that he be allowed to abstain from voting because of a conflict of interest. And so, HCS SB 7(FIN) passed the House. Representative Pruitt moved and asked unanimous consent that the roll call on the passage of the bill be considered the roll call on the effective date clause. There being no objection, it was so ordered. HCS SB 7(FIN) was referred to the Chief Clerk for engrossment. **The presence of Representative Nageak, who was excused (page 1245), was noted.
